TROY, Mich.—June 20, 2019—Anticipating 1,000 attendees, Automation Alley, Michigan’s Industry 4.0 knowledge center and leading technology and manufacturing business association, will move its global Industry 4.0 conference, Integr8, to TCF Center, formerly Cobo Center, when it returns to Detroit for a third year on Nov. 6, 2019. Automation Alley Executive Director and CEO Tom Kelly said the event continues to grow as Industry 4.0 adoption accelerates.
“We set what we thought were lofty attendance goals of 350 when we launched the inaugural Integr8 conference at the Renaissance Center in Detroit in 2017, but we surpassed that number,” Kelly said. “Last year, we aimed for 750 attendees and surpassed that, too. As the understanding of Industry 4.0 and its impact on manufacturing grows, the corresponding urgency to implement an Industry 4.0 strategy does, too. Integr8 has responded accordingly; we moved from concept to action in less than three years and there’s no slowing down now.”
Integr8 is a cross-discipline global conference focused on the eight core smart technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, The Cloud, Cybersecurity, Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Materials and Modeling, Simulation, Visualization and Immersion. In addition to Michigan and U.S. manufacturing and technology leaders, Integr8 attracts a global audience seeking to learn from and engage with their American counterparts. Countries represented at Intgr8 2017 and 2018 included Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Malaysia, China and Japan.
A new format this year will include Industry 4.0 roundtables in addition to breakout sessions; national and international keynote speakers and panelists will offer compelling insights on how to capitalize on the rapid transformation of global manufacturing while ensuring the workforce is prepared for the changing job landscape. The conference will once again include a Smart Technology Expo, this year adding global exhibitors to further highlight the technology options available to facilitate digital transformation.
Early bird tickets and sponsorship opportunities for the day-long Integr8 conference are available at integr8conference.com. The evening before the conference, Nov. 5, Automation Alley is inviting the public to mingle with Integr8 presenters and VIP guests at Integr8 Luminate, a strolling dinner and cocktail kick-off reception also held at TCF Center. Early bird pricing for Integr8 ends Aug. 16.
