Vice President of Engineering
Dale Kirk, Vice President of Engineering at Comcast, has oversight of the infrastructure used to deliver video, high speed internet and digital voice throughout Comcast’s Heartland Region which includes Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee. Additionally, he is responsible for all engineering, construction, and network support. Other responsibilities include developing, engineering, and implementing business plans to accommodate new products and services.
Dale has 40 years of leadership and technical experience in the telecommunications industry and previously served as the Vice President of Engineering and Technical Operations for Comcast’s Colorado Region. He has held similar executive-level positions at AT&T and Tele-Communications Incorporated, where he was responsible for overseeing the staff and technical infrastructure serving hundreds of thousands of customers. He began his telecommunications career in 1978, with United Cable in Nebraska as a service technician and installer.
Dale has a BCT and BCE in engineering. Additionally, Dale is the Past Chairman of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit and currently is on the Board of Directors. Dale also serves as Committee Chair for Boy Scouts of America.
